a 7 week old...

It has been quite a while since I have written (go figure) but a lot has changed.
-Holden made his debut on 11.2.09 at 8:20 pm. He was 9lbs 6oz 21 inches long and the most perfect boy I have ever seen.

We have changed a lot as a couple and now family. We are learning as we go and trying to make the best decisions for our son and family together. I have been back to work for about 4 weeks already and its going well... I am going back to patrol in 2.5 weeks and I can't wait!

This is where I see this blog headed....I have been reading a lot and experiencing and learning about so many new things that deal with being a mommy :) I have found that there are SO many different perspectives on how things should be done and the "best" way to raise children. I plan on blogging about how we (Matt and I) have chosen to do things and hopefully support why ;) I have already been told that I am "green" for cloth diapering our baby, weird and unsanitary for not circumcising my son, and have been reading so much about Ezzo and the mess that is "Babywise" as well as the Dr. Sears alternate vaccine schedule. I hope to cover and support the decisions that Matt and I have and will make regarding these subjects with parenting as well as many others!
